Under the direction of the Township Manager the Planning Department will strive to achieve the following:

1. Assure community-wide compliance with applicable Township development codes and ordinances. 

2. Prepare and implement, and as necessary revise the Township's Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance and other land use policies.

3. Provide technical expertise and administrative support to the Planning Commission, Zoning Board, Township Board and Parks Committee.
