Planned Unit Developments

A Planned Unit Development, or PUD, is a rezoning designation that may be applied to residential, commercial or industrial property for a specific project.  The PUD rezoning allows for more flexibility in the development of the project than would otherwise be available if straight zoning were applied to a project.  The Planning Commission (PC) conducts the Basic and Preliminary review of a PUD project.  The Township Board (TB) has the authority to grant the final approval.
